• Usage and Analytics Data: we track interactions within the app (such as button clicks, page views, and feature usage) and device information (like OS and screen resolution) to understand how you use Oryn.

Oryn is free to use. We do not collect, process, or store payment information of any kind.

How We Use Your Information

We use information strictly to:

• Provide access to Oryn and manage user accounts
• Improve User Experience: analytics data helps us identify bugs, understand which features are most valuable, and make data-driven decisions to improve the app's design and functionality.
• Communicate important updates

We never sell your personal data or analytics data to third parties.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Third-Party Services

Oryn uses trusted third-party services, including authentication and database hosting (Supabase) and analytics (PostHog). These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements and only process your data to help us provide our service to you.

Account Deletion

Users may delete their account and all associated data at any time from within the app, or by emailing support. See our Account Deletion page for full instructions.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account remains active. Deleting your account from within the app removes your data immediately. Deletion requests sent by email are verified against your registered address and completed within 30 days. In either case all personal data is permanently purged from our active databases within 30 days, and nothing is retained afterwards.

Children’s Privacy

Oryn is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at app.oryn@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of Oryn constitutes acceptance of any updates.
